  •   Mike Schmidt, a Colorado native, is a technology-savvy, business development, marketing and sales professional, with over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of start-up companies around the world.   •   Sally has long served as a Champion for small business development. She has been a facilitator for technology commercialization, served as an Appointee for two Governors, where she coordinated technology implementation programs and state technology policy. She has managed many high level committees, such as a governor’s Science and Technology Advisory Committee, National Governor’s Association Committees, and as a member of the Technology Council of the Southern Growth Policies’ Board. She has the ability to communicate with wide ranges of types of people in business and government.

    After leaving her position of Vice President for Technology Transfer at the Institute for Technology Development when it closed, she has run her own independent contracting business. Her company’s emphasis is helping small businesses with marketing, sales, and employee benefits that have no direct cost to the business.

  •   Windham Loopesko, has been assisting American and European businesses in setting up overseas operations since 1983. He runs W.E. Loopesko and Associates, Inc., a Denver-based firm that creates and implements international joint ventures, licenses and distribution agreements.

    In his more than 25 years of international business activity, Mr. Loopesko has worked with over 200 businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy and Poland. During that time he has spent an average of 3 months per year in Europe.

    Current activities (October 2010) include working with the Polish government in Warsaw to organize trade missions between the United States and Poland, setting up an alternative energy company to be based in Katowice, Poland, international coaching and assisting a Polish non-governmental public sector company in its business development activities. Prior to beginning his international business development activity, Mr. Loopesko worked as head of mergers and acquisitions for the Bern-based division of a Swiss multinational. He has also practiced corporate law for six years both in private practice and with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

    Mr. Loopesko has a law degree from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Troisieme License from L'Universite Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), as well as an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College (Phi Beta Kappa).

    Mr. Loopesko, his wife and three children have both French and American citizenship. He is bi-lingual in French, fluent in German, conversational in Polish and Spanish and has reading ability in Italian and Portuguese.
